I’m excited to share a cool new feature we’ve added to ReleaseLoop: Versions.

Picture this. You're managing a release that's not just digital but also involves vinyl and cassettes. Keeping track of all those details can get messy, right? That’s where Versions come in.

In ReleaseLoop, you can now create different versions of your release, each with its own barcode, quantity, and price. It’s perfect for when you want to do a (for example) vinyl run of 200 units priced at $1.99 and a smaller cassette run of 120 units at $2.49. Simply add the details to keep you on track. 

Here’s how it works:

• Go to your release in ReleaseLoop.
• Click on the ‘Versions’ tab.
• Add a new version, enter the details, and you're set.

In ReleaseLoop, you can add your artists, but filling in their details can be time-consuming. 

When viewing the artist's profile, click on the magic wand. Then, populate the SoundCloud URL, and ReleaseLoop will fill their profile. ✨

ReleaseLoop will auto-fetch the artist's name, real name, location, and profile pic and save it to their profile.

Here's what changed:

Adding detail to tasks
You can now add extra detail to each task, making it easier for you to keep organized. Create a task, give it a name, and press edit. You can use full markup to add extra information. 

Filter by due date or customisable order

Pressing the filter icon will change the order of your list, either by the order you have set or by the due date. 

Use Templates 

Implement pre-built templates for tasks like marketing plans, simplifying the process.

Pressing the icon next to 'create task' will load the template button. Choose a template, block it, and assign it to a release. ReleaseLoop will automatically create the tasks relative to your release date.

Every artist on ReleaseLoop can spice up their EPK by embedding Spotify tracks directly into it.

All you need is a URI, and you're sorted.

The best part? You have complete control over this feature – switch the widget on or off as required.

Head to your Artist CRM, then EPKs and add in a URI

From now on, every artist you add to ReleaseLoop gets their own Electronic Press Kit (EPK) automatically created. Best part? These EPKs are fully customizable without you needing to know a single line of code. We've built EPKs, keeping every artist's unique needs in mind.

Task templates are here, and we're starting with a 3-week marketing plan. You'll find the templates on your release page. 

You'll see a popup appear, and when selecting the template, ReleaseLoop will auto-generate tasks for you relative to your release date. For example, if your release is in 3 weeks, ReleaseLoop will pick the appropriate dates around the release date for completing the task. 

You can now add the release type to the release. The current choices are Single, EP, Album & Compilation.

You can now add the track key. The input is clickable and you can type the key. ReleaseLoop will save automatically.
